Meeting 8/24/22

Nicole Cox from the Lawrence County Museum and Historical Society was our guest speaker at today’s meeting. Nicole explained how the school in Coal Grove, Manual received it’s name from a military ship. She also discussed upcoming events that will take place at the museum over the next few months. She explained how much history is here in Lawrence County and the importance of letting the public know of it. She also talked about a series that she posts on Fridays to their Facebook page called Freaky Friday.
